Prayer to the Most Holy Trinity
This prayer was taught by the Angel of Peace to the three shepherd children of Fatima, Lucia dos Santos and Saints Francisco and Jacinta Marto, during the angel’s third apparition in 1916. It is often called the Angel’s Prayer or the Prayer to the Most Holy Trinity. Its words unite adoration of the Trinity with faith in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. Catholics pray it in reparation for sins against Our Lord and to ask for the conversion of sinners. It is especially fitting before the Blessed Sacrament and during times of Eucharistic adoration.
O Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore Thee profoundly.
I offer Thee the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended.
And through the infinite merits of His Most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of Thee the conversion of poor sinners.
When to pray it: Pray this prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, during Eucharistic adoration, or whenever offering reparation for sins and seeking the conversion of sinners.
