Miraculous Medal Prayer
The brief invocation comes from the words shown around the image of Our Lady in Saint Catherine Labouré's vision at the Rue du Bac in Paris in 1830. It became inseparable from the Miraculous Medal and is prayed whenever Catholics wear, receive, or venerate the medal. The longer act of consecration is commonly promoted by the Association of the Miraculous Medal. It entrusts the faithful to Mary Immaculate, asks for her maternal protection, and seeks perseverance in the grace of Christ. Catholics may pray both forms daily, especially after receiving the medal or during a Miraculous Medal novena.
In Latin
Ô Marie conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous.
When to pray it: Pray this invocation daily while wearing the Miraculous Medal, and use the longer prayer when consecrating yourself to Our Lady under this title.
