St. Andrew

Apostle
We have found the Messiah.
John 1:41

The first-called, who brought his brother Peter to Jesus and died on an X-shaped cross.

The story

A disciple of John the Baptist, Andrew followed Jesus after hearing "Behold the Lamb of God," then went and found his brother Simon. He is the one who noticed the boy with five loaves. Tradition holds that he preached in Greece and Asia Minor and was crucified at Patras on a saltire cross, preaching from it for two days.
